Anna-tude of the week: Stop living above your means

Anna-tude of the week: Stop living above your means. This has been stated many times but only those that want to change will and that is fine.  I see nothing wrong with desiring the finer things in life and it’s ok to have expensive taste and wanting to live a life of luxury. It becomes puzzling to me when these things are acquired by going into debt. Is it really worth the stress, depression and panic just to appear a success.  True success is not just making money, Anyone can do that. How much you keep is much more important.  1. Savings and Investments for your children’s future. 2. Create an emergency fund for unexpected expenses or layoff so that there is no panic or stress. 3. Pay off debt instead of creating it. 4. Life insurance is a must. 5. Create other streams of income outside of your main source. There are others but these  are my top 5 and has worked very well for me in my life. Everyone is different and may have different techniques and ideas. Do whatever works for you but just do something. Stress kills and the “Jones” are probably in debt also so stop trying to impress others.  Delayed Gratification = No debt, no stress, no fronting, true success and a happy life. Think about it. Your always winning when your not competing. Let’s all win!
